The CRTE mini-library has lots of paperbacks, hardcovers and magazines. All the work is done by volunteers. Everything is free to borrow for homeowners. The volunteers request that the book or magazine be returned to the library when finished.

CRTE volunteers have created a lending library for all our residents. Books and paperbacks have been generously donated over the years. Books are borrowed on the honor system. Once finished reading, just return the book to the CRTE library. Also found in the library are updated minutes from our Board meetings. The library is located opposite the mailroom on the ground floor.
And on a much larger scale, if it be a public library you are after, consider exploring the Broward County Main Library in downtown Fort Lauderdale. The BCt bus #11 stops at CRTE and also a few feet from the entrance to the main library. The main library is vast and guided tours are available.

The main library in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Tours are available as well as free internet access, newspapers from all over the world, cafeteria, dvd's to borrow and lots more. The BCt #11 stops almost at the door.
INTERACTIVE ICON. Across the street from CRTE is the Galt Ocean Mile Reading Center. This is a branch of the Broward County library system. This branch contains a large video and DVD collection, books with regular and large print, broadband computer access and very helpful librarians. Once a Broward County library card is obtained, the cardholder can go on-line and reserve any book in the entire library system. That book would then be delivered for free to the local branch.
