Bocci
As described in Wikipedia we share some information --- Bocci derives from ancient games played in the Roman Empire. Developed into its present form in Italy, it is played in Europe and also in countries that have received Italian migrants, including Australia, North America and South America. Bocci was initially played amongst the migrants themselves but slowly became more popular with their descendants and the wider community.
And many CRTE residents do indeed love the game of bocci. Originally our residents played on the grass surrounding the building. The residents eventually sought Board approval to construct a regulation bocci court on the CRTE grounds. The Board gave the green light and the bocci court became part of the CRTE complex after construction was completed by our residents in 2008.
